The first puppy born at 2:00pm is He weighed in at 1 lb 5 oz.

This puppy came into the world unexpectedly. He was very still and calm, not moving or moving very slowly and deliberately. (9) He was very quiet for the first eight hours of birth. (10) This puppy does not move much at all unless mother moves him when she gets up. When he does move, it is deliberate. He has already shown that he knows how to get back to mother's milk quickly when he needs. When this puppy is determined, he moves quickly and in leaping bounds. He is very steady, but he does not seem content when he is awakened and knows he is alone. (9) This puppy wiggled his little body around when manipulated for the health exam. He bobbed his head around on the scale, but did not move off. He moved about with a determination when turned over on his back. (8) He was quiet, however, and did not cry out with any gusto. (7) When placed back down with her, he moved immediately in the direction in which he was placed. He was strong and determined to get back to his mother. (7) 

This puppy receives an overall score of 7.14 for this test.

This puppy sat up and gave one distinct bark when he heard a sudden unexpected noise, then stayed in a sitting position just listening. (8) This puppy drew his head up and into the rough pet. He did not move forward or backward and did not make any noise. (10+) This puppy was completely loose and silent during the lift. However, he did give a big yawn. (9) This puppy was still and loose during the turn, but once turned he silently struggled in a feeble attempt. He never made a peep, did not yawn, and looked up at the handler as he was moving his body around in a soft-hearted attempt to right himself. He gave up within 15 seconds and lay still and quiet. (8) This puppy was initially curious and interested in searching around the bottom of the basket. He moved his head around and walked slowly around the bottom of the basket. After investigating quietly for 20 seconds, he then began a soft whimper. He wasn't loud about it, nor was his body stiff or rigid. Instead, he continued to move about the basket as if searching while whimpering softly. (8) This puppy seemed to know exactly where he was. He did not linger with the handler, but instead walked with assurance back to his mother. He was not stiff, his heartrate was not elevated, and he was silent. (10)

This puppy receives an overall score of 9 for this temperament test.
