This puppy is very affectionate and loving. He loves to snuggle and learn all about humans. He easily wags his tail and wants to be near. This puppy will be extremely loyal and bonded to his family. He will ward off unwanted guests with his size and looks alone, but also his aloof character.

This puppy is cautious in nature. He is observant and wants to know something is safe before moving ahead or going forward. This puppy has his own mind and doesn't want to be told what to do. It's almost as if he needs to know WHY he must do something before he will do it. He has no problem submitting to consistent and secure pressure. He is not dominant, but he has a certain independence that lends itself to knowing what he wants and not being easily open to doing something he doesn't want. This knowledge will help his new family lead him in his early months to yield to consistent and fair actions. He will learn and perform if the incentives are in his best interest. This boy will be bonded to his family. He will want a trusting relationship where he is not taken for granted or told to perform unnecessary or repetitive tasks. He may be a protective dog that alerts his family to foreigners who may not have good intentions.

TEMPERAMENT TEST #2:

This puppy sat still, loose, and quiet during the rough pet. This puppy moved his legs and head all around in silent protest during the lift. He eventually gave up, sighed, and completely relaxed. This puppy yawned and lifted his back feet, then completely relaxed during the turn. This puppy was quiet throughout this task. This puppy slowly and methodically explored and sniffed all around where he was placed back into the den away from his siblings. He did not approach the handler. He sniffed in a circle. When he turned toward his siblings, he slowly walked back to the puppy pile. This puppy sniffed around the bottom of the basket without moving his body. He simply moved his head from side to side. After about twenty seconds, he gave more bark just before being lifted from the basket.

This puppy receives a score of 7 for this second temperament test.

TEMPERAMENT TEST #1:

This puppy was still and quiet when touched by a human. She squirmed on the cold scale, but did not make any noise. This puppy was quiet for the first 24-hours after birth. This puppy is strong and remains where he wishes, moving deliberately.

This puppy receives a score of 8 for this first temperament test.

BIRTH NOTES:
This puppy squirmed slightly on the scale. He is quiet and strong. He goes where he wants and doesn't move unnecessarily.

FOUR WEEK NOTES:

This puppy is indeed pointed. This means that his back and sides will be solid black and his legs will lighten up to a tan or silver color. He is a giant male with a beautiful lush medium coat type. Don't discount him because of his inherited coloring. He will be an imposing beauty that will turn heads everywhere he goes. He appears to have amber-colored eyes.

THIRD WEEK NOTES:

This puppy looks to be silver pointed. His legs look to be lightening up. If they continue to do so, he will not be a dominant black color, but a silver/black color or a bi-color with silver legs, silver eye pips or eye brows, and silver under the tail with a solid black body and a black muzzle.

This puppy was born at 8:19 pm. He is a giant black male. He weighed 1 lbs. 9 oz. at birth. He squirmed slightly on the scale. He is quiet and strong. This puppy is large, broad, and robust in structure. He does not have any white spotting at all. His nose was black at birth. He has a black-tipped tail. He was given the brown collar.
