It appears that more DireWolf Dogs than we knew have shown vaccinosis symptoms.
Here’s another report:
“This was very interesting because all of Talos' digestive and neurological issues were speculated by our holistic vet to be caused by the Rabies Shot. Valek is Talos' brother. The holistic vet also confirmed, through hair and saliva tests, that Talos had an alarming about of Aluminum in his system which she says can also come from the Rabies shot and Leptospirosis shot. My other vet, also holistic, titer tested all of Talos' vaccines and was going to write him an exemption letter for his next one because of the severe reaction he had to the Rabies vaccine. Most dogs only need their puppy shots and through titer testing, might go through the rest of their lives without needing another one. Rabies is difficult because the laws in every state and the counties in those states have different laws regarding it. Owners need to look up the Rabies exemption laws in their county.
“Hope that helps. Leptospirosis is difficult because it is deadly, but the vaccine comes with very scary side effects. If your dog has a very good immune system and eats as the wolves do, they should have a good enough immune system to fight off this horrible bacteria.”
And here is another Inner Circle subscriber showing how implementing the principles of only essential mercury-free vaccines, titer testing, and as close as possible to a canine specific whole prey model raw diet will keep your dog its healthiest throughout life.
“Love love love this email, Jennifer! We share very similar values when it comes to dog food and vaccines. We not only titer for rabies, but also Parvo, Distemper and Adenovirus. Our baby never required a booster after his 2nd strategically timed puppy vaccine. We even actively test him for parasites and heartworm every few months, as opposed to dosing him with toxic preventatives every month. Never had an issue with him, and truly believe it's as a result of his superior drug free immune system. We prepare all of his food as well - always whole foods and raw whenever we can, but the bugger does prefer his liver lightly cooked. Can you tell we don't have kids?
“Have you heard of Dr. Karen Shaw Becker? She's phenomenal. I think you would love her books and values. We have raised our baby by her guidelines and recipes, and so far he's just flourishing.
“Thanks again for the invaluable email!
“Sending warmth from Puerto Rico!”
Yep… it’s not just me saying these things.
Many others are speaking out.
It’s knowing who to listen to that can be difficult.
Everything I have heard from Dr. Becker is spot on, in my opinion.
I also like Dr. Dobbs. Her advancements in thyroid research has been phenomenal for dogdom.
And many times I agree with the writers at Dogs Naturally magazine, too.
