Barracuda’s gone.

She left us yesterday.

What shall I do with myself now?!

Oh yeah!

It’s time for Cookie Monster to come into the house!

Huh?

What’s that, you say?

How could I be so insensitive about Barracuda’s passing?!

Oh, no… she’s not DEAD or anything!

You must’ve been…

Oh my, you probably thought…

Ooops… that’s not what I meant at all!  *GULP

She just passed into her new retired life with her new family.

AND BOY are they ever the lucky ones!

Even though she currently thinks she’s in a topsy turvy life right now with people she doesn’t know and rules she doesn’t yet understand…

She has THE BEST family for her.

It won’t take her too long and she’ll be frolicking in the backyard and licking plates clean with the other dogs.

Oh, the fun she will have!

And while Barracuda’s learning to live the good life in her new home, Cookie Monster will now come inside the house for the very first time in his life.

He has just about three weeks to learn how to be a good boy in the house, walk nicely on a loose leash, be exposed to life outside of the forest, learn a few commands, and find out that life is truly worth living when you have a family who loves you.

I’m super excited to be with him now.

He’s going to probably make all the mistakes, but that’s okay.

We all have to learn somehow.

And then, when it’s time, he’ll depart for Utah to meet his new family, too.

Man, I love our dogs.

Each one is so sweet and loving with a beautifully unique, kind-hearted,  generous temperament.

Of course, I miss them all dearly when they leave us…

But holding onto the knowledge that they will be loved beyond measure in their new homes makes everything worth every moment of getting to know these dogs even though they inevitably leave us in the end.

We must cherish every moment we have, just like they do.

That’s the ultimate answer to happiness.

And in order to have a long and happy life with each one of our beloved furry friends, it’s important to balance their health.

They rely on you alone, as you know.

That’s why this week’s Movie Monday continues our BIG series on canine nutrition, where I give you everything you need… a little bit at a time each week… for FREE… minus a bunch of time for me to put it all together for you… to help you leave the corporate kibble confusion behind for good.

And when you are ready, you’ll have the knowledge you need to make the best possible choice for your pets without the marketing hype to cloud your judgement and poison your mind.
