Hewwo.

My name is Chachi.

I is four weeks old.

And today…

Today my tummy went bleh.

Like… real ouchie bleh.

It was a widdle terwable ouchie in my tummy.

“Oooooh... my tummy feel like a bunch of bouncy frogs in there... doin’ flips!”

I didn’t eat my breakfast.

Not even one tiny lick.

And when Momma Jennifer picked me up?

I made a lil’ groan like…

“Mmmrrrrhhh... no touch the belly... it’s grumpy…”

She looked at me all squinty-like.

Not mad-squinty.

Worried-squinty.

Like when the wind smells wrong and the whole pack stops moving.

She called Daddy Jay.

She called Sister Joanie.

And she said, “Nope. He’s comin’ with us. I’m not leavin’ my Chachi boy home like this.”

So Momma scooped me up with Joanie, wrapped us in blankies like sausage pups, and plopped us in the big rolling den with wheels.

I wobbled in her arms.

My tummy still felt like angry jelly.

“Is the whole mountain movin’, or just me, Momma?”

“Mmmmmm... my tummy say blerg again...”

But Momma rubbed real soft.

She sang too.

A hum-hummy sound that made my ears droop with love.

Daddy Jay was driving.

And our friend Miss Shirley came too,

but I just snuggled in close to Momma Jennifer and tried real hard not to go bleh again.

(Maybe I did once. Or twice. Shhh. Don’t tell Joanie.)

We went up, up, up to a place called Fourth of July Pass.

Big name for a little pup with a big problem in his belly.

But it was pretty.

The trees were tall like giants and the wind smelled like snow memories.

Momma carried me everywhere.

She said, “You’re my little brave explorer today, even if you’re not feelin’ top-notch.”

We went into a wooden house that was a museum.

The floors were creaky.

The walls had stories.

They told about people who lived here long ago—

Native folks and priestly folks, with pot-belly stoves and wooden spoons.

I wiggled a bit.

My tummy gurgled.

“Mommaaaa… da frogs is talkin’ again... they say ‘ribbitttt’…”

But she just chuckled.

She gave me some warm goat’s milk—mmm!

It was like snow-melt for my belly.

We stopped at a quiet park.

I got to wobble and wiggle.

And then…

I pooped!

I did it!

I pooped like a champion cub of the ancient ice lands!

My tummy was like:

“Aaaahhhh. Better.”

In the afternoon…

I felt a little bounce in my paws again.

I pounced Joanie’s tail.

I chewed on Momma’s pant leg.

I yipped and wiggled.

“Wook at me! I iz brave again! My tummy frogs is sleepin’ now!”

Momma smiled big.

Daddy Jay said, “He’s back.”

And Miss Shirley called me “the tiniest explorer.”

And even though it was our Fourth of July picnic day,

I got to be with my pack.

Right where I belonged.

Safe, warm, and snuggled in love.

I is Chachi.

Today I had a terwible ouchie in my tummy.

But Momma held me.

And Joanie snored next to me.

And now I feel all better.

I is happy pup again.

“Hey tummy frogs... stay asleep, ‘kay? I got ‘splorin’ to do tomorrow.”

Poor Chachi!

He wasn’t feeling well on the day of our 4th of July picnic.

It turns out, a few of the puppies had decided to eat their momma Jengu’s kibbles during the night, so that morning, poor Chachi’s tummy was doing flips.

We learned real quick that the puppies are now old enough to travel the distance to the front of the 20 foot outdoor kennel, so Jengu’s kibble has to be placed onto a scaffold so her food stays away from her puppies.

We don’t want any more tummy troubles like that one!

On another note, contracts are being completed for the Happy Days litter puppies now.

The remaining puppies are up for sale off the waiting list.

After puppy adoption approval, the remaining Happy Days litter puppies will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis.

If you are interested in any puppy from this litter (or any puppy/adult we have available for sale), all you need to do is reply to this email and let me know.

Here’s the link to see which puppies are for sale off the waiting list.
