Yesterday, we talked about Patagón and where her name came from.

Today, I want to talk about Elatha’s name origins.

Elatha is a prominent figure in Celtic Irish mythology, known as one of the kings of the Fomorians. His name, "Elatha," is believed to mean "skilled" or "artful" in Irish.

What sets Elatha apart among the Celtic kings is his exceptional skill and prowess.

Described as a master craftsman and a highly intelligent leader, Elatha possessed not only physical strength but also strategic judgment.

While Elatha's reign and exploits may vary in different mythological accounts, he is consistently portrayed as a ruler with a keen mind and exceptional abilities, contributing to his lasting legacy as a distinctive figure among the Celtic kings of ancient Irish lore.

We chose Elatha for pink collar female because of her lighter coloring, mimicking the king’s illustrious golden hair.

The giant status of a kingly figure also played into our decision to choose this name for our sweet light-furred girl.

Our tail-wagging Elatha does indeed show leadership qualities with the most outgoing confidence compared to her siblings.

She is the first one to come out of the den for happy greetings.

Elatha also loves affection and wants to please us in everything she does.

She has a shorter coat that will be easy to clean and require minimal grooming.

Both Elatha and Patagón are currently for sale OFF THE WAITING LIST, but don’t delay.

The last two girls from the Giants Litter won’t be available for long.

We’ve had quite an interest in Patagón over the last few days.

She is the largest, fluffiest female, weighing in at 16.6 lbs at just over 7 weeks old!

AND… as gentle as a lamb.

But don’t discredit Elatha.

Just because she may look more like her mother with a shorter, more German Shepherd Dog coat, she isn’t that much smaller (16 lbs) than her larger sister.

She has the most gentle, sweet, loving, happy spirit.

She would be great with children, cats, other dogs, and might even sweet talk your neighbors.

The DireWolf Express is scheduled to leave the station on January 25th, 2024.

We have the preceding vet appointment on January 23rd.

We close all ticket sales for this DireWolf Express trip on January 22nd at 11:59pm EST.

Be forewarned - These girls are now on a first-come-first-served basis.

Once the contracts are signed, they’ll be gone.
