How does this litter compare to future litters?

Today is the LAST DAY to go active for the Monster Movie Litter before we close the waiting list to any further activity for this litter.

To help you decide whether the time is right to choose a puppy from the current Monster Movie litter or wait for an upcoming litter, in today’s email, I will run through my thoughts on the future litters compared to this one.

So far, two future matches have bred.

If the litters take, we should welcome puppies again at the end of the summer. They would then be going home close to the end of October.

Let’s talk about these two litters separately.

The Harvest Litter (Chisel x Grace)

This litter will be similar to the Luck of the Irish litter in that Chisel is a first generation cross between a black Lab/Shepherd female named Opal.

That means the puppies from this litter will be a second generation from the most recent cross.

Chisel produces mellow puppies, especially in males. However, some puppies may have more energy and possess a tendency to vocalize/bark if they take on more of the cross temperament traits.

Chisel produces giants, but Grace is small and light in weight. I expect most puppies to also be small and light like their mother.

Half of the puppies will be a dominant black color. The other half will be wolf sable (agouti).

Half will have black masks, half with have no masks.

No puppies will be white, like momma Grace.

Statistically, half of the puppies will have furnishings (longer hair on the muzzle like a catfish).

The main difference between the Harvest Litter and the Monster Movie Litter is the generation gap. There will be more diversity in temperament and some short coats with drop ears, looking more like a Lab. Puppies will be smaller, as well.

Muscle Car Litter (Cookie x Syrenka)

This litter is a fifth generation!

A very highly consistent litter with an emphasis on that beautiful stable standardized large breed family companion dog temperament.

Despite the consistent temperament, this litter will be highly diverse in outward appearance with all color combinations a possibility.

I find that utterly amazing.

Many have marveled at how we can breed consistency in temperament, but keep such a high diversity in outward appearance.

The reason is because we FOCUS on temperament first, disregarding outward appearance until inherited temperament is stable.

The main difference between the Muscle Car Litter and the Monster Movie Litter is minor outward appearance differences. The father is the same in both litters, but Syrenka throws furnishings and brown eyes. Plus the possibility of white puppies and solid black puppies.

There is only one day left to let me know you want to go active for this litter.

Tomorrow (12 a.m. Eastern), we will close the waiting list to any further activity for this litter.

Reply to this email to let me know you want to go active, otherwise, I will skip you for this litter.

If you are not yet on our waiting list and want to go active, you must be approved for puppy adoption and place your $600 non-refundable deposit down to get on the waiting list.
