Listen to this…

“Hi Jennifer,

Amazing email and videos! Just wanted to share a quick moment I  had with Luna.

I had just read your email and started the video when Luna heard your voice  came running over and sat mesmerized watching the entire video, and then went back to sitting in front of the AC!

Your voice will forever be imprinted in Luna!”

You know what?

I hear this ALL THE TIME!

And every time I do, my heart leaps for joy at the beautiful memories I have of those sweet doggies and our time together when they were little babies.

But why do Luna (and so many others) respond so strongly, even years and years later, to my voice on YouTube?

It’s because those precious furry souls have imprinted on me.

And the way I do it is unique to the Dire Wolf Project.

Lois Schwarz taught it to me through years of observing her own interacts in this deep and intimate way with all of her puppies.

It’s a way of touching the very essence of a puppy’s soul.

Way down deep - reaching beyond the canine outer layer to a part of every mammal that can only be spiritually felt, not physically seen or touched.

With puppies, I use my breathe, my voice in a whisper, and the physical proximity of my face to make this deep and last connection.

It is the most amazing experience to speak to another’s soul and become an everlasting part of their lives.

One time, I went to visit an older adult American Dirus that I trained as a mobility service dog.

I wasn’t sure he was going to remember me.

And at first he didn’t, treating me like any other stranger.

Then, something clicked in his brain after being with me for a few minutes.

When the lightbulb went on that his long lost friend from many years ago was there in the flesh, his whole body reacted with such delight.

I couldn’t get enough of all his snuggles, hugs, and kisses!

What a feeling that is!

In today’s Movie Monday video, I share all about the puppies from each of our three fall litters.

Watching those sweet intimate moments I share with each puppy will give you a good idea how I can imprint so strongly with each one of our puppies.

Even after years and years later.

(If it’s not up when you click, check back later today. It was a LONG video and took a bunch of hours to upload.)

P.S. I changed my mind about not keeping a puppy from the Harvest Litter.

I know. I know! *shrug*

I even tried to talk myself out of it.

But I just HAD TO!

I wonder if you can guess which puppy I chose.

Go to the Harvest Litter page to find out:

(I’ll reveal my reasons for the switch-a-roo in tomorrow’s email. Stay tuned!)

P.P.S. We are going down the active waiting list right now! (Check the litter pages above to find out which ones.)

You can follow along by monitoring the waiting list to see which family I am speaking with.

https://direwolfproject.com/direwolf-dogs/waiting-list/

If the family chooses, their name will move from the waiting list to their puppy’s name.

If they decide to continue to wait, I will unbold their name on the list and bold the next active name.

So exciting!
