What happens the day puppies travel home?

What a jam-packed weekend for us here at the Dire Wolf Project!

It’s kinda hectic on the last day when puppies go to their new homes.

First, we make sure our American Dirus puppies have everything they need for a smooth transition to their new families.

We pack each puppy’s Go Home Bag with a heartbeat toy, a litter-scented blanket, food, bedtime story, Dire Wolf Project book, and important medical and ancestral information.

After the Puppy Go Home Bags have been arranged, we prepare the DireWolf Express.

Packing up our spacious Chrysler Pacifica to prepare for the long trip around the country takes a good deal of thought.

We have taken the trip many times now, though, so we have learned a thing or two about how to make the trip as comfortable as possible for our furry first-class passengers.

Last, we give each puppy a spa treatment to wash off the dust and grime from living in our beautiful forest home.

We want our puppies to look and feel their best when they meet their new families. As the time arrives to send our puppies on their big adventure, we feel a mix of emotions.

Saying good-bye means puppies will begin their new lives with loving families, but it is easy to miss them as I watch them roll out of the station with conductor Jay at the controls.

Dire Wolf Project breeders aren't your average breeders. All of our puppies are raised in a stimulating learning environment with consistent attention and interaction.

Along with the best-hearted, sweet-natured large breed companion puppies, we also provide our new puppy families with the essential items to support a smooth transition to their home.

Here at the Dire Wolf Project, it is our goal to know as much as we can about each individual puppy and each unique family.

In this way, we can help match you perfectly with your new furry family member!

American Dirus puppies must be calm in body and spirit, have internal confidence, yet be gentle and loving to their people. American Dirus... the first large dog breed in the world to be bred solely as a companion dog!

What do you think?

How easy would it be for you to say good-bye to those sweet puppies and watch them drive away?

PS: What a blessing many of you are to us! We appreciated all of your awesome feedback on last Friday’s video trailer.

Here are some quotes we received about the video:

———

“Oh!!!!  I can hardly breathe… [an Inner Circle email subscriber] told me about the trilogy..  and of course I devoured them….  Then she just shared the connection to the Dire Wolf Project….  I’ve been reading these emails ever sense.

But this mini film … oh my … it took me to another level. The characters, the  ….. just everything was perfect. Now I want a full length movie so bad.

Nice job !!!!

You are so much more than just talented.”

“Hi Jenn! I’m very excited for your progress. Your video is outstanding.”

———

“WOW!  Very professional!  Like a pro! It’s just amazing what can be done now.  It looks like you had the whole thing staged professionally!”

———

“…you are doing amazingly well. I have students who are studying this on purpose who aren’t as good as you and your self taught methods.”

The last quote was from one of our Inner Circle email subscribers who is an award winning producer, director, and NBC network news and video editor. She generously gave us some valuable supportive feedback on how to make our book trailers even better in the future.

Apparently, the goal of many book trailers is to be only 15 seconds long! Imagine that. PHEW. That almost seems impossible, but I was able to crunch the video down to 30 seconds from the original 1 minute 30 seconds.

In any case, if you missed the video trailer, return to last Friday’s email and click the link… or subscribe to our YouTube channel: @direwolfproject
