Grateful for the freedom to breed STRONGBRED dogs

Happy Fourth of July weekend,
Today, I am grateful for the freedom to breed dogs in a way that is sustainable and focused on superior health and longevity above all else.
No other dog breed in the world is maintained by breeders who understand that both predictability and systematic crossbreeding are necessary components of a durable way forward for our beloved tail-wagging friends.

This fourth of July weekend, it is also wonderful to recognize our amazing Dire Wolf Project owner network!
When an elderly American Dirus dog needed support to find a new home for his last years, many of you stepped up and delivered!
I am happy to announce that Skolai has found his new home.
He will be returning to roots in the beautiful Colorado Rocky Mountains.
He will have all the comforts he needs as he transitions into his older years.
Congratulations to this big boy!
Jay will pick him up on this next DireWolf Express trip and hand-deliver him to his new home.

The DireWolf Express is scheduled to leave on July 13th, with our vet health check-up planned for July 7th.
