Choo, Choo!!

We’re heating up the steam engine, folks!

The DireWolf Express will be on its way around the country to deliver a few precious presents just in time for Christmas.

Here’s the scoop you’ve been waiting for.

It looks like we are heading out early on December 5th.

We have FOUR dogs going:

  1. Dreamer (Colorado)
  2. Gladys (Indiana)
  3. Trixie (Florida)
  4. Vlad (Texas)

We are beyond excited for these special souls. I can’t wait to meet their new families and hand-deliver their new furry companions into their loving arms.

As you can see, we are heading to Colorado first to deliver DREAMER.
Then, we’ll shoot almost straight east to Indiana for Gladys (now: ZOLA).
After that, we’ll travel south to Florida to hand-deliver TRIXIE.
Then, we’ll drive the most southern route to Texas to transition VLAD.

In order to avoid as much snow as possible, we’ll head over to New Mexico and up through Salt Lake City toward home.

It’s a round-trip total of 6,507 miles and 97 hours of driving.

A shorter trip than we sometimes do, if you can believe it.

just like tracking Santa’s sleigh, you can follow my journey and catch up with all of our adventures around the country by downloading the FREE tracking app, PolarSteps.

I will have to hand the baton of daily email newsletters to Jay while I’m away, so be prepared for some hilarious stories from the dad-joke king.

You don’t have to miss me, though, because I will be posting DAILY stories, videos, and pictures of the trip all along the way in REAL TIME.

It’s always a blast to keep track of where we are now.

And I'd let that lonesome whistle,

Blow your blues away.
