In a world where humanity has lost its way, where our moral compass has grown dim, and the bonds that once held society together have frayed, a whisper of hope emerges—a prophecy foretelling the return of the legendary giants of old has been found at the Dire Wolf Project.

When we think of giants, we might think of large, clumsy, grotesque oafs, but giant folklore around the world is rich and vast, spanning many cultures.

First of all, the Bible tells of many giants.

The Nephilim were believed to be the offspring of fallen angels and human women. These giants were renowned for their immense stature and strength. Their presence in the Scriptures, particularly in the Book of Genesis, has sparked centuries of debate and interpretation.

Perhaps one of the most famous giants in the Bible, Goliath was a formidable Philistine warrior who challenged the Israelites to single combat. His epic duel with the young David, armed with nothing but a sling and stones, has become an enduring symbol of the triumph of the underdog.

Saint Christopher, also known as Christopher of Lycia, is a legendary Christian martyr and one of the most popular and widely recognized saints in the Christian tradition. The historical details of his life are somewhat obscure, and much of what is known about him is based on legend and folklore. According to tradition, Christopher was a tall and powerful man who sought to serve the greatest king he could find. He initially served a pagan king but later learned about Christianity and decided to follow Christ.

In Greek mythology, the Titans were primordial giants, descendants of Gaia (the Earth) and Uranus (the Sky). These colossal beings, including Cronus and Atlas, played a pivotal role in the creation and early history of the cosmos. Their clash with the younger Olympian gods, led by Zeus, is the stuff of ancient legend.

But lying buried under a boulder jetting out from the grassy meadow near the Columbia River overlook, I found a mysterious weathered leather parchment.

Curiously, I could read the ancient words written in black ink on the preserved scroll. The writings speak of a time when these legendary giants will return, drawn back by the call of a world in need. It reveals that when humanity reaches its lowest point, when the light of morality flickers in the face of darkness, the giants of old will reawaken to guide us back to the path of righteousness.

And so we await that fateful day when the ground trembles, and the earth quakes as the giants emerge from their long slumber. Towering figures with eyes that shine with ancient wisdom and hearts that radiate boundless compassion, they will stroll across the land, their footsteps echoing like thunder.

The arrival of the giants will surely signal a reawakening of the old ways—the ways of kindness cloaked in reality, sacrificial love, and respect for all living things.

The giants will share their wisdom with humanity, reminding us of the values that had once bound society together—the importance of hard work, the virtue of selflessness, and the power of truth. They will remind us to cherish the land, to respect its creatures, and to recognize the interconnectedness of all living beings.

So, let us prepare for…
