Fall puppy season is officially on the way!

Two litters are now OFFICIALLY confirmed.

That means that if you are on our waiting list, it’s now time to GO ACTIVE!

These match-ups are completely different from one another, so I’ll briefly go over them here so you can get a general feel for the two upcoming choices.

Muscle Car Litter (Cookie Monster/Syrenka)

This is a FIFTH GENERATION litter with a highly consistent family companion dog temperament.

That’s around 8-10 years of hand-picked gentle giant ancestry by the Dire Wolf Project’s strict temperament standards!

But even though the litter is consistent in temperament, it is highly diverse in outward appearance.

And that is one of the reasons why the Dire Wolf Project is world-renowned.

Within a consistent breed-wide temperament, we maintain a highly genetically diverse outward appearance range.

That is because a consistent inherited companion dog temperament is more important than our breed’s ideal overall look.

The father, Cookie Monster, is a giant silver wolf gray with a wolf mask. He throws giant size and a long coat without feathering (long, silky hair between the toes) or furnishings (whiskers on the chin). He is a sweetheart that loves snuggling and moonlight walks on the beach.

The mother, Syrenka, is an average-sized silver wolf gray with a black mask and furnishings. She has extra large paws and a loving, kind-hearted personality to anyone she meets. She is highly intelligent. She will throw whiskers in 50% of her puppies (statistically).

ALL puppies will have erect ears.

If you want a gentle giant with a prehistoric wild look, this is the litter for you!

Harvest Litter (Chisel/Grace)

This is a SECOND GENERATION litter with high genetic and immune diversity. This means extremely genetically healthy.

The latest outcross was two generations back on the father’s side. The outcross grandmother was a 50/50 black Lab/Shepherd named Opal.

The father, Chisel, is a giant black with bright yellow eyes and a wolf mask. He throws giant size and a laid-back attitude. He also has a tendency to bark at intruders, both hairless and furry ones. He has large drop ears without any rise and will throw drop ears in his puppies. That being said, his last litter did produce a puppy whose ears rose early, so erect ears is possible, but not, be any means, guaranteed.

The mother, Grace, is a very small and light white female with highly-slanted eyes and a particularly impressive wolfish look. She does have furnishings (whiskers on her chin), but it doesn’t detract from her wild look. In fact, in many ways, it’s a benefit because her coat is much more corse like a wolf’s. She will throw puppies that are small and light weight.

Any smaller pups will not be kept in the breed.

If you don’t mind the possibility of drop ears, a little more energy, and some protective barking in a loving giant body with a healthy build and high genetic diversity, then this litter is for you!

All of the families who purchased a puppy from Chisel’s first litter with Dreamer have told me their puppies were perfect for them!

In fact, this week’s video features DUBLIN, the giant male pup we kept from Chisel’s first litter, the Luck of the Irish litter.

You’ll see how spectacular he is as he learns all about swimming in a lake for the first time.

Watch his mind work out the problem, his trust in me outweighs his apprehension about the small waves.

He is such a gentleman and a dream to train.
