What do an NBA basketball player, a famous horror novelist, and a senator have in common?

I sat on the front lawn of a NBA point guard‘s home secretly marveling at the pure athleticism in his movements.

I stayed at the beach home of a woman who wrote Hollywood screenplays to China Beach and Quantum Leap.

I stayed a couple of days with a syndicated journalist who has been published for over thirty years in around sixty mainstream newspapers.

I sat for an hour at an American Congressman’s house talking about dogs, the country, and politics. 

I became friends with a famous British author whose works rival George R.R. Martin and J.K. Rowling.

I spent a few days with a NBC video editor and movie producer.

Okay, okay, so what’s the big deal??

So I had some time to share with six famous people who have accomplished great things in their lives… so what?

What does that have to do with the Dire Wolf Project?

It’s not about bragging about the celebrities I’ve gotten to know. (In my life there is not much to brag about, really.)
