This puppy moved head back and forth moving somewhat circular.  She arched back and forth with her head in the lead and her front feet following behind.  She would scoot in the right direction, then move her head and front back and forth in an arch again.  At one point, she arched over to the newspaper side and stopped all movement for 3 seconds.  She then deliberately moved away from the newspaper and back on the carpet toward mom.  When she touched mom's foot, she did not begin moving toward mom, but continued to arch around as if still searching.  She grunted throughout this part of the test, except for when she met the newspaper.  This puppy receives a score of 6 for this category.

This puppy took a few seconds to survey the landscape.  Then, she calmly sniffed in all directions, especially on the upper sides of the basket.  She was a little shaky, but bravely explored.  She grunted after a few seconds and remained grunting while she put her paw on the top of the basket.  She remained grunting slightly until she was picked up.  She receives a score of 8 for this category.

What is the reaction of this pup when it is placed back away from siblings?

This puppy calmly looked around for about a minute.  Then, she quietly and slowly moved over to the pile of puppies, found a spot on the outside and began licking her paws.  She remained awake, but calmly lying still next to her siblings for several minutes before falling asleep.  She receives a score of 10+ for this category.

Temperament Test #3 - 6 weeks

This puppy was very wiggly and kissy.  She wanted to snuggle right up to my skin and lick it vigorously.  She had a lot of powerful energy and wanted to move about during the entire weighing in session.  She was very quiet about it all, though, she yawned at me once.  In watching this puppy, I tend to think this one will be a lot like her mother, Bonnie, with loads of positive energy and smarts.

This puppy did not flinch and did not seem to notice the object drop into the den.  She was only interested in the people.  When the other puppies moved to investigate the object, she turned to follow the crowd, but then became distracted by the people and went to them.  This puppy receives a score of 10 for this category.

This puppy remained quiet and calm.  She continually wagged her tail throughout the pet and moved her head loosely in anticipation of the pet.  This puppy receives a score of 10 for this category.

This puppy remained calm and loose.   She wagged in tail quickly in submission, but remained loose and alert.  She moved her head around slightly to look around.  This puppy receives a score of 10 for this category.

This puppy remained calm and quiet, looking around with his eyes.  She was not stiff in the least.  At one point, she looked directly into the handler's eyes.  She gently tried to turn herself over, but submitted right away when the handler stayed her.  This puppy receives a score of 9 for this category.

This puppy took a few seconds to survey the landscape.  She was a bit shaky in the knees, but calm.  She looked around calmly, but did not move about.  She was not stiff, but somewhat uncomfortable.  She was accepting of where she was, however.  She receives a score of 9 for this category.  

What is the reaction of this pup when it is placed back away from siblings?

This puppy immediately became animated upon returning to the den.  She immediately turned and jumped back up to be pet by her people.  She receives a score of 8 for this category.

This puppy has the most white spotting of all the pups in the litter.  She has a white mask, pink nose and a white chest and stomach.  She has pink skin on all of the underside of her belly.  She shows a white tipped tail and four white socks.  She is light golden in color except for a dark black stripe down her back.  She has a dark head reaching to her ears.
