Health: 

Bonnie Lee is extremely healthy and has not experienced any health issues to date.  Her teeth are correctly positioned as well as her legs and feet. 

Temperament:

Bonnie Lee is excellent in American Alsatian temperament.  She received an overall temperament score from the Schwarz Kennels of 8.9.  She is extremely quiet and loving and is also very compliant and has a strong desire to please.  She watches and thinks before she tries and is always aware of her owner's movements.  Her only fault in temperament per American Alsatian temperament standards is that she has bunches of positive energy.  She licks and wags her tail and wants to be near all of the time.  Bonnie Lee has been assessed by Shawna Davies, the Dire Wolf Project's head trainer.  Please click here to view much more specific information about her initial training assessment as well as lots of information about her training progress.  Bonnie Lee is being specifically trained as a hearing dog for the purpose of eventually being placed with a family that requires this aid.  

Conformation:

Bonnie Lee is a golden sable American Alsatian with silver highlights.  She has excellent conformation and scored 8.9 overall.  She is a smaller female, but very well proportioned and has an excellent gait and bone structure.  She has striking yellow eyes and erect ears.  She has dark points on her tail, legs, and chest.  Bonnie has a very large head for a female. 

Faults:

large ears, dark muzzle, smaller in size and golden color.  Bonnie has more excitable energy than the breed standards call for.
