About the Litter

This match will produce tall dogs standing 30 - 31 inches tall at the shoulders as adults. Males should weigh close to 115 - 120 lbs and females should reach 100 - 110 lbs. These dogs will not be as muscular or broad in structure as we like, but more thin in frame. The puppies from this litter will either be light silver wolf gray with black masks like Shennara or white like Triton. No other color combinations are expected. All of the puppies will have short double coats with some having longer hair on the shoulders and tail. Eyes will range in color from brown to yellow and ears will tend to rise, with some rising slower than others. Tails will lie flat and be short in length. Statistically, 75% of the puppies will show furnishings (longer hair on the muzzle), but only a few whisps will be noticeable as no puppy will show long hair. Puppies will be highly intelligent and very aware and responsive to their environment. These puppies should be highly trainable and learn new tasks with ease. Some puppies may be more reserved than others, which we will note. Puppies should be more on the serious side with a calm demeanor. One or two pups may show a bit more independence, but we will note this if we see it. All other puppies will be intuitive to human emotion and loving. These puppies will be thinking type puppies and easily able to problem solve. We may see some prey drive, if we do, we will note it in the puppies that show it. The inbreeding coefficient for this litter will be high at 30% on a five generation pedigree with five known genetic COIs. The ancestor loss coefficient will be low showing 70% on a four generation pedigree. This means that genetic diversity for this litter will be significantly lower and proportionately reflect the mother's ancestry. The puppies from this litter will be third generation (F3). Both parents have been DNA tested clear and not carriers for all 172 genetic diseases tested for by Embark veterinary. Health is guaranteed, as always. We hope to find a highly intelligent, calm female with dark pigmentation and no furnishings from this litter to help us move the breed forward. We are not looking to co-own any puppies from this litter.
