.  She is large and loves her comfort.  She has a tendency to be stubborn in situations where she is not comfortable, however, she looks to her person for help and guidance and will be a great companion animal with consistency and understanding of when she is less confident.  She is quiet unless she feels disquieted and then she will communicate her needs.  This can be used as a training tool to find out how far she can be pushed to do certain tasks.

Morgan is a very determined and strong puppy.  She uses her strength to go wherever and whenever she wants.  She uses her voice and her powerful legs to propel herself to safety.  Her eyes are beginning to open now. Morgan is a very dark silver wolf gray with some white spotting on her toes and chest.  She has a lighter muzzle and may look extremely wolf looking in the face as she matures.  We will keep an eye out for that.  She has a large head and a heavy body.  A very healthy and lovely female pup.

How does this puppy come into the world?

This puppy came out head first with the sack on.  She was very quiet and I was afraid she was not breathing, but she was just quiet.  She did not react much when rubbed vigorously. This puppy receives a score of 6 for this category.

This puppy was quiet at birth.  She made very little noise.  However, when mom moves or scoots and touches her, she screams out loudly.  This puppy receives a score of 4 for this category.

This puppy moves her legs about in energy.  She is quiet about it, but she bobs head around and works to turn around when picked up.  This puppy receives a score of 4 for this category.

What is the reaction of this pup to the first medical examination?

This puppy quietly moves to get out of the scale.  She turns in circles and flails her legs about.  This puppy receives a score of 6 for this category.

What is the reaction of this pup when it is turned over on its back?

This puppy flailed her legs about and wiggled to turn over, but remained quiet, no crying out, grunting, and certainly no screaming.  When turned over again, she calmed immediately.  This puppy receives a score of 6 for this category.

What is the reaction of this pup when it is placed back with its mother?

This puppy moves about grunting and turning her head from side to side.  She screams for mom if she does not make it back in a timely manner.  She continues to search and eventually ends up with her siblings and falls asleep.  This puppy receives a score of 5 for this category.

This puppy roaches her back and begins to move her legs about rooting for a place to bury her head deeper.  This puppy receives a score of 7 for this category.

What is the reaction to a dropped loud object?

This puppy jolted slightly then yawned and lie back down.  She was not traumatized or upset and was loose and confident.  This puppy receives a score of 9 for this category.

What is the reaction when pup is roughly pet?

This puppy became slightly agitated and worked to move away from the rough pet.  She wiggled and twisted throughout the pet.  She did not make a noise and was not stiff, but was uncomfortable with the hand movement.  This puppy receives a score of 6 for this category.

What is the reaction when pup is picked up?

This puppy was silent and initially loose, however, her mouth was open in protest.  After 2 seconds she stiffened her head in an effort to communicate her discomfort.  This puppy receives a score of 8 for this category.

What is the reaction of this pup when it is turned over on its back?

This puppy cried and twisted in an effort to right herself.  She was insistent and not going to give up.  She grunted and cried until she was righted and then she was perfectly content.  This puppy receives a score of 5 for this category.

This puppy was quiet and observant.  She wandered slowly around the basket sniffing at the corners.  She did not try to climb out, but she did look up.  She did not settle or sit down during this time.  This puppy receives a score of 8 for this category.
