DESERT OASIS!! EIGHTH PUPPY born at 8:35 pm PST is a large Wolf Gray female with significant white spotting. She has four white paws, a white tip on her tail, white patch covering her nose and some of the top of her muzzle over her black mask. She wears a red collar. She is large weighing in at 1 lb 6 oz and is quiet and still when listed and placed on the scale.

Puppy #8 - Sahara (red)

This puppy came into the world with ease. She was silent and calm upon arrival. (10) This puppy made no noise during the first eight hours after birth (10+) This puppy has a calm energy. She knows where milk is and locates it with ease. She is not overly excitable or energetic at this time. (10) This puppy moved her head under her body and scooted backward slightly upon being touched. She made no noise. (8) This puppy was quiet and still on the scale. Upon the lift, this puppy grunted softly, pumped her feet gently. Then she sighed and completely relaxed. (9) This puppy grunted softly upon the turn, but remained relaxed and still with no noise. (9) This puppy moved her head from side to side and bobbed when she was placed back into the den away from mom. She then moved the front of her body from side to side as if rocking. When she touched mom, she sniffed the ground and the moved foward toward mom and her siblings. She made no noise. (9)

This puppy initially startled then stood still as if listening. He did not back away, cry out, or cower. This puppy was silent. (8) This puppy was still and calm upon the pet. Her body was loose and she remained silent. (10) This puppy was loose and quiet upon the lift. (10) This puppy gave a small, feeble effort at flipping back over, but the instant she met with resistance, she submitted. She remained quiet throughout. (8) This puppy gave quiet a bit of licking behavior after a brief flinch when pet on the head in the hold. She was very loose and calm with no noise. (9) This puppy went back to the puppy pile upon being returned to the den. She made no noise. (8)
